My Beauty Staples

Every girl has their beauty essentials and I thought I'd share some of mine with you.

Before I apply my make up I use Mac Fix + which is my absolute saviour. It keeps my make up on all day in every single weather condition. It sets my make up perfectly and leaves my face with a perfect dewy glow, it also adds hydration and is a great finish. I have the 100ml bottle and its lasted me for over 3/4 of a year now and I still have about a months worth left. It is so worth it and I would recommend this product to everyone whatever your skin type.

My next beauty must have is Sudocrem. Given that this product wasn't originally designed to treat spots, it is brilliant. It can transform giant spots over night to small pink marks and while you continue to use it they completely disappear. It is great for dried skin, rashes and spots and I would recommend this product so much although your skin can get used to this cream so it would be best to use it only twice a week so that your skin will still respond to it.

The next beauty product I'm going to talk about is Johnson's Baby Lotion. It may be directed  towards babies but I am 17 and still using this. It makes my skin so soft and after I use it, it makes it feel so nourished. Not to mention it smells amazing! It doesn't make my skin feel greasy at all and soaks in very quickly. I use it everyday and I feel so much smoother and it is really cheap unlike high end lotions.

Next is my foundation. Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation is a dream foundation. It gives a very full coverage which is something I like and is easily squeezed out of the small tube that it comes in. When I wear this over Mac Fix+ it gives me the best complexion and a nice dewy glow. It covers all of my blemishes, dryness and redness really well and is the perfect base for my face. I use a small sponge to apply this foundation and I use Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set it. I can't rave anymore about this product, it is just perfection in a tube.

Next is fake tan. We all secretly love fake tan as it gives us a healthy glow when we're dying of colds in the winter and especially this time of year when its starting to warm up. I use two different types and have used these specific products for years now. If I want a lasting tan then I use St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. I have tried a lot of long lasting tanners and this is by far my favourite. It gives instant colour but you have to wait a while for it to dry out but it is definitely worth it.

The other fake tan I use is Rimmel Instant Tan. Firstly the smell of this tan is amazing! It gives naturally brown colour and is great for a quick application if your going to a party and don't have time to get ready. I use it with a lotion to get the best coverage all over my body. It blends well and washes off instantly when you shower.

I hope you enjoy my beauty essentials for now, there will be more soon for hair!
